The 2024 World Refractories Association’s (WRA) Joint Board of Directors and Executive Committee Meeting took place on 15 March, in Tokyo, Japan.
This was a hybrid meeting where around 12 WRA Board and Executive members took part to discuss the relevant topics and key updates pertaining the refractory industry at global level.
The WRA Joint Board of Directors & Executive Committee Meeting, offered the opportunity to present the progress of the work developed by the WRA committees, on safety, technical aspects and communication as well as to discuss the priorities, challenges of the sector, and mid- and long-term objectives.
The next WRA Joint Board of Directors & Executive Committee Meeting and General Assembly meeting will be held on 14 November 2024 on the occasion of IREFCON 2024 Goa, India.
